The British manufacturers have produced a range of iconic cars, often built for style, class, and smoothness to hide James Bond’s savvy tech.

But a number of models to pass through its Gaydon factory doors have been hand-crafted to scorch to the highest speeds possible.

With that in mind, we have ranked the five fastest Aston Martin supercars ever produced.

Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante – 211MPH

Aston Martin

Taking the first spot in the top five fastest Aston Martin Supercars is the DBS 770 Ultimate – and Volante – which surpassed the Vulcan.

Technically, this place is tied between both of the DBS 770 – Ultimate and the Ultimate Volante – builds, which both have a 211MPH top speed.

As a swansong to the entire flagship DBS range, the DBS 770 is named after its power output, and it’s no surprise that the marque poured in every ounce of speed that they could to honor this incredible fleet.

Aston Martin Vanquish – 214MPH

Aston Martin

Announced in September 2024, the Vanquish is back for its third generation and it has flown off the mark with a whopping 214MPH top speed.

Designed to ‘look as though it’s been in the gym for about 24 months,’ and a ‘predatory shark,’ as per CCO Marek Reichman, the Vanquish quickly became the fourth fastest Aston supercar.

Given that previous Vanquish generations also got special editions, it could climb the ranks with future spin-offs.

Aston Martin Valhalla – 217MPH

Aston Martin

Despite being a hybrid sports car with a smaller V8 engine than its counterparts, twin 400v electric motors boost the Valhalla to a very impressive 217MPH, just shy of being the quickest of the bunch.

The Valhalla had a helping hand from the F1 team and racers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso in its development.

The former world champion and his prodigy helped forge a false floor raised to the driver’s heels and unique carbon-fiber bucket seats, to ensure that the driver feels ‘connected’ to the Valhalla.

With a 0-60MPH time – 0.1 seconds slower than the top supercar in this list – the Valhalla could serve as the perfect blueprint for Aston Martin’s electric future.

Aston Martin One-77 – 220MPH

Aston Martin

Technically, the One-77 could be placed first on the fastest supercars list for the marque, having matched the top speed of number one.

However, it is penalized for how long it takes to reach 220MPH, in comparison to its ‘quicker’ compatriot.

The One-77 takes 3.40 seconds to reach 0-60MPH, which is dwarfed by the next supercar that hits it in just 2.40 seconds.

While the One-77 might be able to shine in a rolling start, if we imagine a drag race featuring all Aston Martin supercars, it would sadly slot into second place.

The Fastest Aston Martin Supercars: Valkyrie – 220MPH

Aston Martin

The Valkyrie is a seriously fast machine, smashing production car track records at Silverstone, beating the previous record holder, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, by 10 seconds.

The staple Valkyrie is described as a ‘Formula 1 car for the road’, and can flick between driving under the floodlights of the world’s fastest tracks and under the traffic lights on a trip around London’s busy metropolis.

The car comes with a 500HP buffer setting to get used to its handling, but drivers can soon unlock its true potential with the 1,155HP free-flowing V12 engine and rip it towards the 220MPH top speed.

The road-legal track-experienced Valkyrie is the fastest Aston supercar, pipping the One-77 through its acceleration levels,.

Bonus: Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro – 250MPH

Aston Martin

The previously mentioned supercars are all street-legal, but none can drive as quickly as the track-only Valkyrie AMR Pro variant.

The AMR Pro supercar, built for racing and racing only, removed the air con, infotainment systems, and the KERS braking system in favor of a carbon-carbon design, among other F1-inspired modifications.

All this adds another 30MPH to the top speed, if it ever needed it, on the track. This also goes for the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH, which is a Le Mans Hypercar spec capable of 250MPH.

Future fastest Aston Martin Supercars

The many spokes of Aston Martin’s assembly wheel have produced some incredible series that miss out on the fastest accolades.

However, the new Vantage Roadster was a statement of intent from the British manufacturer arrived as one of the quickest convertibles in the industry, hitting 202MPH.

While that’s still some 9MPH underneath the benchmark of the DBS 770 Ultimate Volante, future models could see the iconic range find its place among these hasty Aston Martin giants.

But for the foreseeable, the Valkyrie – and AMR Pro – sit atop the winged throne.
