What is life like on the inside of the Taycan?
The inside of the all-electric Porsche Taycan is a very pleasant place to be.
As you might imagine from the German marque, there’s precision and clarity in the presentation.
It stated that the original 911 dashboard from 1963 served as the inspiration for the Taycan’s.
The marque also added its trademark, chunky leather steering wheel.
The digital display is very clear, as is the multi-function, 16.8-inch touchscreen at the side.
And the seating is equally as pleasant, with figure-hugging bucket seats found in the car.
There are also luxurious leather seats in the back, although it’s not exactly the most spacious of layouts.
All in all, the Taycan interior reflects the standard and status we’ve all come to expect from Porsche.
How has Porsche done with the exterior of the car?
To put it simply, Porsche has done brilliantly with this design.
It’s an extremely striking – a cross between the Panamera and the 911.
To be able to marry those two designs into the ultimate EV is far from an easy task.
And yet, the marque has somehow managed to achieve just that.
The front and the sides have been heavily sculpted and developed for aerodynamics.
The brand intentionally crafted the shoulders of the car to emphasise the rear.
Of course, as you know, Porsche is renowned for its aggressive, flared rear-styling.
Interestingly, even the license plate is intentionally lower down to support aerodynamics.
So, what can the Porsche Taycan do on the road?
As you might imagine, the speed you get is determined by the version you choose.
The base model Taycan will get you from 0-60MPH in 4.8 seconds.
It also comes with a top speed of around 155MPH – not bad, right?
Well, it gets better if you opt for the Turbo GT version.
The Turbo GT is the highest specification Taycan that you can get.
This package comes with a top speed of over 180MPH.
When being driven normally, the all-electric car comes with 777HP.
However, it comes with 1,019HP when used with launch control.
And of course, there is a variety of specifications in between those two extremes.
