Launched in 2023, the Lamborghini Revuelto was the first hybrid supercar from the Italian automaker.

Released as the successor to the Aventador, the Revuelto marked a ‘new generation of Lamborghini supercars’.

Alongside the iconic V12 engine, the HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) hybrid came with a 187 horsepower electric motor.

The car gets its name from a fighting bull that fought in arenas in the Spanish city of Barcelona back in the 1880s – and much like its namesake, the Revuelto packs a punch.

The hybrid supercar has a striking exterior

Much like you’d expect from Lamborghini, the Revuelto is a stunning vehicle, designed to be both aerodynamic and a real head turner.

The Revuelto takes its design inspiration from legendary Lamborghini V12s of the past, including the Murciélago and the Diablo.

The car’s sharply sculpted lines are further complemented by a set of vertically-opening scissor doors.

For the Revuelto, the carmaker introduced a brand new Y-shaped set of daytime running LED lights with the main headlights tucked into the corners.

To the rear of the Revuelto, you’ll see the same Y-shaped design as the front, as well as a completely exposed engine bay to showcase that V12.

Along the sides are sculpted surfaces encompassing two lines that start from the front and taper down to the hexagonal-shaped exhausts.

The car also features the marque’s ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) system, which it says is 80 percent lighter than the typical hydraulic systems you’d find in a sports car.

All in all, it’s the sort of car that gets a second look when it’s out and about.

Let’s take a look inside the Lamborghini Revuelto

The inside of the is as beautiful as the outside.

Lamborghini says the interiors are designed to bring the ‘Feel Like a Pilot’ concept into reality.

“Simple volumes, symmetry, and a driver-focused approach make the cockpit an empowering station for the driver,” the marque explained.

Much like the exterior, the interiors have a Y-design, this time with the dashboard and center console.

Its upholstery is made using high-quality leathers alongside the ultralight and modern Corsa-Tex fabric.

While the interiors were created with the mission of ‘evoking past models’, the Revuelto is also crammed with the sort of technology you’d expect from a modern supercar, including an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, and a passenger-side 9.1-inch display.

Enough about its looks, how does the Revuelto perform?

While the car is undeniably gorgeous inside and out, it’s also a Lamborghini, so you can expect to pack a punch.

Its hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 6.5-liter V12 alongside a 140 kW electric motor, produced a combined 1,001 horsepower.

Lamborghini

Yes, you did read that correctly – more than 1,000 horsepower.

The Revuelto can do 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.5 seconds and 0-200km/h (0-124mph) in 6.6 seconds.

It has a top speed in excess of 350km/h (217mph) – an impressive speed for an impressive vehicle.
