Marc and Darlene Rozman have been married for more than 45 years and have racked up a lifetime of happy memories.

Some of their most treasured memories involved the 1969 Dodge they bought in 2000.

However, in 2012, they decided to sell the vintage vehicle with plans to buy an upgraded version – a decision they would later regret.

There are plenty of folks who see their cars as much more than an engine and four wheels – so when it comes to tracking down a long-lost vehicle they’re more than happy to give it a shot.

This man spent two decades looking for his 1967 Mustang after it was stolen, while this guy hired a private investigator to track down his 1979 Trans Am.

Meanwhile, over in Royal Oak, Michigan, the Rozmans soon realized that selling their Dodge Charger had been a bad move.

The muscle car had helped them strike up new friendships and rekindle old ones; they also participated in various car events including Michigan’s Woodward Dream Cruise.

“We decided we’re not done with her yet, we want to continue on with the story,” Marc told WXII in 2021.

Although they’d sold the car on, Marc and Darlene kept in touch with the new owner.

He told them that while he was out at shows with the Dodge Charger, members of the public would approach him and ask, ‘Is that Marc’s car?’ A surefire indication that the car truly belonged to the Rozmans.

Fortunately, for them – the new owner was willing to sell the car back to them and the Dodge Charger made its way home after five years.

As soon as they were reunited, the happy couple threw themselves back into the automotive enthusiast scene and continued to take part in the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Isn’t it nice to see a happy ending?
