A Colorado man has completely transformed this unassuming Ford work truck into a neat little studio apartment on wheels.

Owner Jason used to live in Fort Collins with five roommates when he decided he wanted his own space.

So he began to look for a truck that he could convert into his own mini-apartment.

The ‘Stealth Studio’ began life as a 2004 Ford E-350 box truck and has been completely transformed into a compact and practical living space.

We’ve seen plenty of incredible motorhome transformations, such as this cool camper that used to be an old bread truck and this former school bus that’s now a slick off-grid home.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, Jason picked up this old 2004 Ford E350 work truck from Craigslist and decided it would be the perfect studio apartment.

Tiny House Giant Journey

From the outside, the motorhome looks almost identical to the work truck it once was – leading Jason to give it the nickname the Stealth Studio.

The truck’s stealthy looks are a huge plus for Jason, he explained to the Tiny House Giant Journey YouTube channel.

So much so, that he even got a special screen for the truck’s window to make it look more like a simple box truck and keeps a construction vest under the windshield in the driver’s cabin making it seem as though it’s a work vehicle.

But inside it has been completely transformed

However, a quick peek inside would show you that it’s anything but your stock standard work truck.

Although the interior only measures around 12 square meters, Jason has managed to make clever use of the space to pack in just about everything he needs.

The main living area is accessed via the cabin and has a loft bed with a full-sized mattress and some handy storage space for Jason’s clothes.

Despite the diminutive size of the truck, the kitchen offers plenty of counter space as well as a sink, microwave, induction cooktop, and even a small fridge.

There’s also some additional storage thanks to the overhead cabinets.

Opposite the kitchen area, there’s a good-sized – and comfortable-looking – couch, alongside a desk.

The bathroom features a decent-sized shower and a composting toilet.

He’s also fitted a 208 liter freshwater drum, a stereo sound system, air conditioning unit, and Wi-Fi extender.

All in all, this little truck is a pretty neat home.
