Cardi B’s car collection is quite something, and is nearly as flashy as Cardi B herself.
The rapper and singer is known for a lot of things, but being subtle isn’t one of them.
Her car collection is equally not subtle.
And there’s something else that makes Cardi B’s car collection even more absurd.

In an episode of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, the music mogul revealed she owned a Lamborghini Aventador, Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Chevy Suburban – the list goes on.
This wouldn’t be particularly shocking were it not for the fact that Cardi B can’t drive, and doesn’t even have a license.
When Corden asked her why she has all these cars, considering she can’t drive, the 32-year-old star simply said she needs the cars to ‘take pictures’ with them.
Fair enough.
In fact, shortly thereafter, she made headlines for selling some of her luxury cars, which had been collecting dust in her garage.
This is unusual, but not unprecedented.
A lot of high-profile, high-net-worth individuals go through life perfectly well without having a license.
For example, soccer star Kylian Mbappe also has a car collection worth millions despite not having a license.
This is because people like Cardi and Mbappe are chauffeured everywhere like royals.
And so unless driving is something she’s genuinely interested in, which clearly she’s not, the truth is she probably doesn’t know how to drive because, well, she doesn’t need to know how to drive.
Still, it could be worse.
People like Mbappe or Cardi B can’t and won’t drive because they’re too rich, to bother, or they’re too busy – but then you’ve got people who are legally not allowed to drive.
US presidents and vice presidents, for example, can’t drive their cars because the law says so.
Imagine that.
