Bugatti Sur Mesure gives purchasers of the Mistral a chance to pick out and customize every single inch of their new cars – not only the paint color and interiors but even the rear diffuser, headrest, stitching, and gearshift.
There’s even an option for Bugatti drivers to customize their cars with hand drawn art and sketches or pick a pattern from their home they would like to mimic in their new luxury hypercar.
Forget limited edition, this is working directly with Bugatti engineers and designers to create the car of your dreams.

Bugatti Sur Mesure: The pinnacle of customization
In a last hurrah for Bugatti’s W16 motor, the automaker dreamed up the Mistral, a luxury hypercar worth $5 million or more.
Anyone lucky enough to buy one of the available 99 Bugatti Mistrals gets a chance to customize every single inch of it in their new program, Sur Mesure.
Not only do the buyers get the opportunity to customize every part of their Bugatti, they get to fly to the headquarters of Bugatti in Mosheim and meet Jascha Straub, who is the head of Bugatti’s individualization program.
Most of the buyers have taken advantage of the Bugatti customization program, because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t?
How do you get a one-of-a-kind supercar?
The journey of designing your car obviously starts at the Bugatti headquarters, where buyers are treated to lunch and shown around the facility in order to be inspired by other cars in production.
Literally everything on your Bugatti can be customized like paint colors, interior fabric, trims, stitching, headrests, gearsticks, logos, and even the underside of the wing mirror.
If it is on the supercar, it can be customized.
Even drawings and art designs can be put on the Bugatti, to an extent.
Previous people who have spoken to Straub tell of how he clearly has opinions on customers ideas, making sure it doesn’t create a car that doesn’t fit in brand with Bugatti’s luxury, but he steers them in such a subtle way it’s almost impossible to pick up.
It’s such a shame there aren’t any new Mistrals on the market at the moment, because we don’t know what to spend our spare $5 million on if not a Supercar Blondie-themed Bugatti Mistral.
