There’s a reason why Brabus calls it the 1000 All Gray
Brabus often gives its cars self-descriptive names, and this new model is no exception.
This Mercedes-AMG S 63 is called the All Gray, because everything, from the body panels to the 22-inch mono-block wheels and the interior, is gray.
The gray theme continues inside, with gray leather upholstery paired with ‘Shadow Gray’ and high-gloss carbon elements.
They also call it the ‘1000’, because that’s the amount of horsepower that the E-Performance (=hybrid) 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood makes.
According to the German high-peerformance brand, this hybrid sedan is capable of reaching 60mph from a standstill in just 3.1 seconds, and the top speed is 180mph – or 290km/h.
How this German tuner goes from subtle to completely wild
The 1000 All Gray is a subtle, discreet vehicle.
This used to be the exception but it is becoming a bit common.
Not long ago, the company launched a similarly restrained Rolls-Royce.
But Brabus is still capable of going in a completely different direction with its vehicles.
The company has a long track record of incredible and sometimes indecipherable vehicles.
They’ve created four-door sedans with 1,000+ horsepower as well as a doorless, doorless G-Wagen.
