This Bosnian man got so impatient waiting for the Cybertruck that he built one himself out of a Ford F-150 Raptor.

Igor Krezic is a business owner in Bosnia and Herzegovina who is a big fan of both Ford and Tesla.

However, he didn’t want to wait around for the Cybertruck to make it to his country – it was set to arrive in 2021, which was a year off at the time.

Fortunately for him, his employees were on-hand to make a car for him.

In all, it took eight months for the IT specialists at Krezic’s Stark Solutions to transform a Raptor into a Cybertruck.

It was a process that involved disassembling the former vehicle into its smallest parts and then reassembling them into something that resembled a Cybertruck.

As impressive as it looks, there’s still one big difference – this imitation Cybertruck is not electric as its Tesla counterpart would be.

As noted by autoevolution, the F-150 replica also isn’t as polished as an original.

It was also not legal to drive on the streets, as a Bosnian law prohibits vehicles with such sharp surfaces driving on the streets.

That doesn’t stop the car getting a lot of attention, as you might imagine.

According to carwow, a Cybertruck costs $80,000, which is quite pricey for many people.

It’s no wonder then that quite a few people have resorted to making their own in a bid to cut costs.

One Tiktoker called Rauno Märtsoo created one using a 1991 Lada as a base.

In total, it cost him $700 to do and took him five nights to complete – not too bad at all.

Admittedly, it’s not got the sleekness of an original but is still an impressive effort.

Another homemade Cybertruck got a lot of people’s attention, but probably not for the best reason.

Once video of it moving down a highway made it online, internet users had jokes aplenty to make at the car’s expense.

“Cybertruck – Wish version,” one user quipped, drawing parallels between the ‘replica’ vehicle and the less-than-authentic products found on the website.

“I think bro ordered his on Wish dot com,” another user joked.

“China starting to make Cybertrucks now!?!!” a third exclaimed.

They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Elon Musk must be feeling very bashful right about now.
