A man couldn’t find his car for three weeks, after parking the Skoda Superb before a friend’s bachelor party, and then forgetting where it was.

Britain’s BBC News reported on the unusual story, with the man losing his car in the southern suburbs of Cork City in Ireland.

A remarkable hunt of over 50 locations led to owner Kieran feeling incredibly stressed as to the whereabouts of the car.

It took three weeks to conclude the search, with the young man looking all over town for his Skoda Superb.

How the nightmare search for the Skoda began

Kieran shared the story with a Cork radio station, and how the situation he called a ‘nightmare’ unfolded.

“I got into Cork late at night and couldn’t find anywhere to park in the city,” he said of the car.

He then became so fed up that he drove out to the south of the city.

After he arrived there, he found a housing development and then managed to park the car.

He then proceeded to have his night out with friends on April 4th and mentioned that he had an excellent time.

On the Sunday of that week, though, it was time to go home, and this is where the situation unfolded.

One of his friends stayed back with him in the city to try and find the car.

Kieran explained that they drove for over five hours in the city looking for his vehicle.

The young man said he had gone through 59 different developments attempting to find the car.

None of them were where he had parked it.

He then contacted the Irish police, the gardaí, and they were very professional and helpful.

They couldn’t find the car in an impound, and there was no proof that a crime had been committed.

Kieran then offered a €200 ($227) reward to anyone who found it.

Believe it or not, a woman called into the radio program he was on just a few minutes later.

She’d found the missing Skoda, which was parked on an estate in Ballyphehane, south Cork.

Naturally, Kieran was relieved, and he could finally put the situation behind him.

But a three-week search is enough to test anyone’s patience!
