We are talking about more than 180 vehicles, ranging from classic cars to pickups, trucks, motorcycles, and a lot more – each one with a story of its own.

Once a bustling mining hub, the Gold King Mine has now become a ghost town, but it remains a major attraction for those who love history and classic cars.

At the heart of the mine, you’ll find vintage cars, including models from the 1920s.

A rare 1928 Studebaker Indy race car also rests at the place, and other notable finds include a 1951 Buick Roadmaster, a 1953 Chevrolet Pickup, and a 1948 Ford Sedan.

Vintage bikes from the 1920s, like the Harley Davidson, and classic Indian motorcycles can also be spotted.

Adding to the collection are a few old trucks, some pickups, and even a crane. A fire vehicle also rests in the American ghost town.

The place has a rich history

Gold King Mine has a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century.

It was known for gold and copper mining, with operations peaking in the early 1900s.

However, as mining operations declined in the mid-20th century, the once-vibrant town of Jerome fell into disrepair.

And today, these vehicles and the other remnants only speak of the place’s past.

A similar ghost town in Southern Nevada is also a graveyard for countless vintage cars.

Today, Gold King Mine in Jerome draws visitors from around the world who come to see the classic cars and also learn about its mining history.
