This American man unboxed a $2,000 electric truck from China and was surprised at what he found.

Micah Toll, the host of YouTube channel Ebikeschool, bought the Chang Li electric truck after discovering it during research.

When it arrived, it didn’t look like much – the packaging made it look really beaten up.

But after it was unboxed, it took him by surprise.

We’ve seen people order a lot of cool stuff from China.

There was one guy from Nashville who snagged a $6,500 ‘Italian’ bike made in China, and another who got a $1.5k sports bike that took six months to ship to the US.

A ton of these awesome purchases come from none other than Alibaba, a Chinese online market site.

You can find tons of stuff on there from budget supercars to food trucks.

For Micah Toll, the host of YouTube channel Ebikeschool, a $2,000 electric truck was what he was after.

Now, you don’t need us to tell that you that $2k for a truck is a very good deal.

But that would lead one to believe there’s got to be some sort of catch, right?

Well, if you were to look at the truck before it was unpacked, you would be right to think so.

A cage had been built around the truck, which itself was wrapped up in cardboard.

“The cage is pretty beat up. Whatever they loaded on top of this in the container really crushed the cage,” Toll said.

“There’s a lot of damage to the cage… but it didn’t reach the top level of the truck, so I think it’ll be alright.”

Fingers crossed!

Luckily, his worries disappeared once the truck was out of the packaging.

It might have been on the smaller side for a pick-up truck, but it still looked like $2,000 well spent.

And best of all, it still held up after 18 months of use.

We’re glad that’s the case, as there’s nothing worse than buyers remorse.

This eBay user got a brutal dose of that when he picked up a Pontiac GTO that had been sitting for 20 years.

To see Toll unboxing the truck for yourself, head over to his YouTube channel.
