The Oscar winner spent some time at the marque’s Stuttgart HQ as an intern, and he really got stuck in, even helping on the factory production line.

For a true supercar fanatic like Brody, finding never-before-seen drawings of the Porsche Carrera GT was mind-blowing, and suggests that an iconic part of the supercar initially was very different.

Brody had the best time being an intern, and the sketches were truly a gold mine for a supercar fanatic, showcasing what made the Carrera GT stand out from the start.

Adrien Brody is a lot of things, including an Oscar-winning actor, but his most recent job was spending time as an intern at Porsche’s Stuttgart Headquarters in Germany.

During his visit, he got really stuck in, even spending time on the production line and enjoying currywurst lunches with his new colleagues.

His time as an intern was truly a dream for the supercar fanatic as he got the chance to see behind the scenes of some of the most famous supercars in history.

When he got the chance to look inside a garage full of 986 Boxsters, he was treated to a never-seen-before sight by the Porsche Director of Special Projects, Grant Larson.

Never-before-seen drawings of an iconic roadster

Grant Larson showed Brody a sketch that he claimed was the first sketch idea for the Porsche Carrera GT. But it looks a little different from what we know as the final project.

The most stark difference between the sketch and the real thing is the sketch supercar’s hardtop roof and the similarity it held to the 911 GT.

“So, before the Carrera GT existed as a roadster, it was just a mid-engined, V-10 supercar,” Larson told Brody, but all the way back in 1999, it wasn’t anything close to the Carrera GT we know and love today.

Larson shows off a few other sketches, including a bizarre-looking 911 concept with the most lurid orange paint and an incredibly wide body.

Brody clearly had a blast as a supercar fan, and we’re a little bit jealous he got to do such a cool internship.
