Leno is no ordinary car collector, and he’s no ordinary Ford customer either.

This explains why the Ford CEO went out of his way to deliver the car.

But it also explains something else that’s special about this Mustang.

Why Jim Farley personally delivered the car to Jay Leno, and what makes this particular GTD so special

Jay Leno is arguably the world’s most revered car collector.

Google users certainly seem to think so, considering Jay Leno’s collection is the most Googled car collection in the world.

Jay Leno left his TV job after making a fortune, and he’s spent the last few years focusing mostly on two things: his car collection and the YouTube channel he uses to talk about his cars.

Leno himself doesn’t exactly know how many cars he owns, but what we do know is that nearly every automaker out there – apart from Ferrari – treats him as a VIP client.

This explains why when Leno took delivery of his Ford Mustang GTD – the most powerful Mustang ever made – he found out it had been signed by everyone who worked on the car, which is a nice touch.

What makes the Ford Mustang GTD so special

Even though it’s based on a relatively common and inexpensive model, the Mustang GTD is a different beast.

The 815hp Mustang GTD is one of those cars you can’t buy unless the company says you can.

According to Farley, Ford has received over 7,500 applications to buy this ultra-expensive Mustang, which means they cherry-pick who’s going to get one.

This is unusual for Ford, but not unheard of.

They also did it with the even rarer and even more expensive Ford GT.

Just like the Ford GT, the Mustang GTD comes with a no-resale clause, which must be taken seriously.

Even John Cena had to find out the hard way.
