The new Maserati MCPura is here with a V6 engine and a list of color options that’s almost endless.

You’re looking at at least 30 paint options, and that’s just including options that are considered ‘standard’.

There’s also a convertible version.

But there’s a bit of a catch.

A Maserati with a focus on customization

Unveiled at Goodwood, the Maserati MCPura focuses on customization above everything else.

it features 30 body color options, including all-new shades like Devil Orange and Verde Royale.

You also get a redesigned front end and new cool patterns for the seats and the upholstery.

It still retains the same butterfly doors as the MC20 and, on top of that, you can customize it even more with Maserati’s Officine Fuoriserie, which is basically like Aston Martin’s Q or Bentley’s Mulliner.

The new Maserati MCPURA looks brilliant, but the catch is… it isn’t a ‘new’ Maserati.

For some reason, Maserati decided to rebrand the MC20 to MCPURA, so this is basically just a facelift for the MC20, not a new car.

Maserati

Under the surface, the MCPura is exactly the same as the MC20, which means it also inherits the title of being the fastest autonomous car in the world.

It also uses the same 621-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo ‘Nettuno’ V6 engine and also the same monocoque chassis.

That’s definitely good news because it means the power-to-weight ratio is still great, and the 0-62mph is still 2.9 seconds, and the top speed is still 202mph.

Just like the MC20, it is also available as a convertible.

No word on pricing, which presumably means the new MCPura will start at around $250,000+.
