This man opened up a set of garage doors to find an $800 bargain car with just 5,000 miles on the clock.

The car was begging to be driven after being sat inside a garage for a number of years.

But, the real test was seeing if it would drive.

And, the unexpected happened when the lucky man sat in the driver’s seat.

Garage and barn finds are often the epitome of excitement for many gearheads.

From unbelievably old cars to abandoned new gems, anything is possible.

For example, one man went to a ‘secret’ US farm and found some very rare barn finds, including some salvageable muscle cars.

Plus, $52 million worth of epic cars were found abandoned on a French farm, which might just be the best barn find ever.

However, when it comes to hitting the jackpot on garage finds, this YouTuber may have just hit the ultimate jackpot.

YouTuber Road To Rust splashed out just $800 on a car in a garage that was going to be scrapped.

But when he opened the doors to his new purchase, the unexpected happened.

Behind some green garage doors was a Rover, in pretty mint condition, despite some elements of mold.

After uncovering the car, the real test was seeing if it would start.

To everyone’s surprise, it started right up, with the YouTuber even joking that the car should be placed in a museum, as it was so well-preserved and well-maintained.

“I can’t believe that went straight away,” exclaimed the YouTuber.

The engine wasn’t even due a filter change, and was described as the closest you could actually get to a new Rover.

“That’s amazing, what a car,” stated the YouTuber.

To stop the car from conking out, a new battery was installed and, after a clean, the car – along with its happy new owner – went on its merry way.

This isn’t the first miraculous car find we’ve spotted at Supercar Blondie.

For instance, Jay Leno himeself revealed a $10 million ‘buried treasure’ barn find – none other than the rarest Mercedes Gullwing ever discovered.

And, if that wasn’t enough – one dad and daughter duo went to Michigan with nothing and left with a barn find 1966 Ferrari that was one of only 450 built.

For now though, catch all the Rover action below.
