Let’s all wish a happy one-year anniversary to the video that broke the internet of someone craning their 1957 Porsche 58 storeys into their Vancouver penthouse.

The video shows what’s probably the craziest moving day ever. But when you think about it, how else are you meant to get your supercar up all those floors? Take the stairs? Squeeze it into an elevator?

The video shows a gorgeous classic silver 1957 Porsche being lifted by crane on a metal base with absolutely zero guardrails.

You can’t help but feel grateful for hand brakes when you know that there’s only a few thin straps stopping millions of dollars from crashing to the ground.

There’s no more obvious a display of wealth than this video of a vintage 1957 Porsche being lifted by crane to a penthouse apartment in Vancouver, Canada.

A year ago, the video, posted on TikTok by billy.I32 showed the vintage supercar enjoying its flight up to the top floor of Vancouver’s Butterfly Tower.

The classic silver Porsche 356 enjoyed the views of the mountains from the rooftop deck, while it waited for its new home, the Penthouse suite, to be finished.

Rarely do rides in a supercar have a z-axis. But this truly took thrill-seeking to new heights as a crane transported it up 58 storeys.

It certainly captures the craziest moving day ever. But when you think about it, there really is no other way to get such a rare and lovely supercar up so high.

We don’t know if the supercar has moved into its official home in the Vancouver penthouse yet, but it sure looked good when it was on the viewing platform.

We guess we’re truly in the future now, as we finally have flying cars, just not quite in the way that we expected.
