A man traveled across the United States to Illinois for a dream Chevrolet Chevelle muscle car, only for disaster to quickly strike.
American Jon Dega posted his adventure on his YouTube channel, where he was asked to find the car by a client for someone’s birthday.
He had spent nearly $100,000 to secure the Chevelle Super Sport, but sadly missed a whole bunch of red flags that were apparent when he inspected the muscle car.
Cue massive frustration and a large amount of regret when Jon finally got to see what it was he had bought.

The Chevrolet Chevelle looked great on the outside
Outwardly, there appeared to be nothing wrong with the American muscle car.
It rocked its deep red color.
The red was complemented by a gorgeous black interior, and the car looked to tick all of Jon’s boxes.
But further issues arose when the American began to take a closer look at it.
There was quite a long list of issues, most of which were mechanical problems.
The 396ci V8 engine idled too high and misfired, while it also kept stalling on the move.
There was also an oil leak on both valve covers, and the rear suspension felt very ‘floaty.’
More problems turned the Chevelle into a nightmare
A broken parking brake and faulty air conditioning simply added to the woes of the muscle car.
The motor for the AC blower simply stopped blowing, and Jon was frustrated with the car.
However, things became even worse when Jon got in touch with the dealership he had bought the car from.
He emailed them about the muscle car, with a list of everything wrong with it.
The YouTuber gave the dealership three options.
These were to fix everything and pay for it, give the money back for the car, or for Jon to return it for a refund.
Incredibly, at the time of writing, the dealership had decided to ignore his e-mail.
That, as you can imagine, led to some major frustration from Jon who badly wanted this Chevelle to work out.
There is now lots of work to do for Jon, either to send the car back, or fix it ahead of his client’s friend’s birthday.
