A US car enthusiast YouTuber was lucky enough to purchase a 2008 Winnebago RV Adventure with damage after being flooded for $9,450 (including fees).
He got the ‘steal deal’ at an insurance auction.
After buying it last month, he plans to fix it up and drive it back to South Carolina.
Upon closer inspection, it included several surprises that made it an even better deal than the content creator had bargained for.

The flooded Winnebago RV
When Mike of the Niko Brothers YouTube channel bought it, he could see that the Winnebago RV had minor visible damage.
However, given Mike and Ivan’s self-professed skills for ‘rebuilding anything and everything’ – Mike wasn’t put off.
Especially considering its all-inclusive price of $9,450.
Despite a waterline just below the wheels, some debris, and minor fiberglass issues, it was in decent condition overall.
In fact, there were no major signs of rust or saltwater damage and it looked ready for a road trip.
A pleasant surprise
When he stepped inside, instead of damp her found that the interior was surprisingly clean, well-maintained, and smelled good.
Functional furniture, a fireplace, and a large TV suggested a spacious remodel.
Under the hood, he found the drive shaft but had to source bolts and clamps to reattach it.
The needle bearings were intact, and – after some minor adjustments – the drive shaft was successfully installed.
Not only did it look good but the RV’s engine started right up, with a mere 60,000 miles on the odometer.
When powered up, the generator and house batteries, were functional and meant lights, steps, and other features were in full working order.
In fact, both slide-outs operated quietly and smoothly, significantly expanding the RV’s living space with heavy-duty components.
But, the best was yet to come.
After resolving a parking brake warning, the RV drove smoothly back to the shop.
Despite quirks including external speakers picking up road noise and some fiberglass repairs needed ‘steal deal’ doesn’t even cover how good of a buy this was.
It fared better than this flooded Porsche GT3RS bought for $130,000.
