A Tesla Cybertruck driver has been spotted queuing in line for fuel at the gas station.

Aside from making drivers scratch their heads, it also added precious minutes to their daily commute.

So what was the EV doing there?

It’s left TikTok divided down the middle.

Nobody got out of their car to ask the EV driver why they needed gasoline, so honestly: there’s not a great deal we can glean from the TikTok shared by @user676594012 (even their handle is enigmatic).

It’s captioned simply: “Cybertruck filling gas” accompanied with a face palm emoji.

Text over the video reads: “Why is bro in the gas line?”

While the situation confused many – TikTokers, as ever, came up with several theories.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been left confused by a Tesla Cybertruck at a gas station.

“Bro didn’t want to be left out,” quipped a social media user.

But other theories were potentially more useful.

“They might be using gas for a generator,” someone suggested.

“You can see him filling a gas can, probably for a lawn mower. The red gas container in his hand,” another said.

Other EV drivers chimed in, too.

“I have an EV and I go to the gas station to clean my windshield. I’m not saying this person is doing this but it’s possible,” they said.

Others agreed, saying they often filled up cans for their boat and that it was ‘okay to use the gas station for all sorts of reasons’.

You’d be more likely to see the Tesla Cybertruck at the world’s largest supercharger station being built by Tesla in the US.

One guy even put a gas generator in his Tesla to avoid plugging it in during a road trip.
