You might have heard the news about Michael B. Jordan’s Ferrari 812 being crashed, but luckily the popular Hollywood actor and producer came out unscratched.

However, you might haven’t heard that the car is getting a second life, thanks to a car restorer called James.

Known for his YouTube channel, TheStradman, James bought Jordan’s Ferrari after it was wrecked in an accident on Sunset Boulevard.

Now, it was time to get the supercar back to its former days, as James and his partner Sophia took a challenge to restore it.

Initially, what they thought would be an easy-peasy job turned out to be quite a complicated and time-consuming project.

Just removing a few parts and extracting the engine carefully took more than four days, and the restoration is far from complete.

However, as of writing this article, they have made massive progress on the car and even uploaded the restoration of the Ferrari 812 on their YouTube channel.

James, along with his girlfriend Sophia, began the process by removing key parts of the Ferrari.

They took out the intakes from both the driver’s and passenger’s sides and removed almost everything under the hood.

The frame rails were bent and the skid plates were damaged, which meant they had to be taken out as well.

Then, it was time to remove all the oils and other liquids from the car, and to do so they took out the radiator, oil cooler, and AC condenser.

The oil tank also had a dent, which James revealed would cost $2,200 to replace, surprising Sophia, who took a pretty bad guess at just $500.

It was a humble way to remind her they were working on a Ferrari!

One of the biggest tasks was removing the Ferrari’s V12 engine, and using a table jack, they managed to extract the engine smoothly.

But it took more than four days just to extract this beauty out of the car.

As of now, there’s still work left to complete, including fixing the frame and replacing the fuel tank.

However – despite admitting that the task has been way more than they expected – the progress has been massive, and the couple is working at an impressive pace to bring the Ferrari back to life.

With the engine out and repairs underway, it won’t be long before Michael B. Jordan’s Ferrari 812 Superfast will be back on the road.
