Fernando Alonso was driving his Aston Martin Valkyrie in Monaco when the unexpected happened.
The car broke down and the 43-year-old F1 star was forced to ask the Aston Martin team for help.
Unfortunately, nothing they did worked and so they had to call the recovery truck and tow the car away.
It gets worse, because all of that happened in front of an extremely large crowd.

Fernando Alonso and his relationship with Aston
Fernando Alonso has been racing for Aston Martin F1 since the start of the 2023 season.
One of the side advantages to that is he was given early access to one of the first few Valkyries to leave the factory.
A 1,100+ horsepower hypercar is not exactly what you’d call a company car, so presumably Alonso had to pay for it.
Or maybe not – we just don’t know.
But either way, it won’t make much of a difference to him since he’s on $24 million per year at Aston Martin F1.
He’s the third-highest paid driver after Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
As a side note, Lewis Hamilton will almost certainly retain the number one spot next year as well, considering how much Ferrari are going to be paying him.
The reason behind the car breakdown
Aston Martin Valkyrie is a highly technical, ultra-sophisticated hypercar.
It uses a Cosworth V12 engine and an electric motor, and a Rimac-sourced, F1-style KERS hybrid system.
It puts out 1,139bhp and only weighs 1,355kg.
It’s a Formula 1 car for the road and, much like a Formula 1 car, it can be quite fragile.
Aston hasn’t yet released a statement regarding the breakdown, but considering the way it went viral on social media, they probably will at some point.

Most F1 drivers believe that road cars, even the really fast ones, are simply a bit unexciting when you’re used to F1 cars.
They still buy fast supercars but, sometimes, their car collection is just an extension of whatever F1 team they’re racing for.
A while back, while racing for Scuderia Ferrari, Alonso bought a Ferrari Enzo, which he later sold.
Now his Aston Martin Valkyrie has replaced the Enzo, and Alonso is expected to stay at Aston Martin until 2026, so we can expect to catch him at the wheel of more Astons in the future.
