A 60-year-old American woman has gone viral after having her Lexus RX 350 SUV compared to a regular model from the Toyota parent company.
The woman posted her response to the exchange on her TikTok account. At the time of writing, it had gained over 16,000 likes.
The fitness instructor described an encounter with an acquaintance who criticized her choice of luxury car, similar to the SUV in the above video.
She came out swinging to defend herself and her car. Refusing to let them judge her based on her choice of vehicle.

The comment about her Toyota upset the fitness instructor
The woman, @tall_lioness64, described how – after teaching a back-to-back class on Saturday morning – she ran into the acquaintance as she headed to lunch.
The fitness instructor described her as a ‘friend of a friend, of a friend’ who was out with someone else.
As she walked back to her car, the other person remarked how the instructor had a nice car.

But the other lady said that her Lexus ‘ain’t nothing but a glorified Toyota.’
As we all know, Lexus offers more luxurious and premium models, and the company is one of the best luxury brands on the market.
But while she admits that underneath it is a Toyota, she felt the comment wasn’t justified at all.
The woman defended her 2021 Lexus SUV
The car in question is a 2021 Lexus RX 350 as seen below, one that the woman clearly has a soft spot for and even gave it a nickname.
She bought the car during the pandemic and did so for three reasons.
The woman said she wanted a car that had zero percent interest for four years; she wanted a vehicle that would outlive her and one that she could pack everything she needed in the back.
The instructor has done well, stating she has just 12 months left before the car is fully paid off.
It’s clear that she took some offense to the acquaintance’s claim.
Even more so as, the RX 350 is one of the best Lexus vehicles currently on sale.
The woman clearly found a good deal with this Lexus, and it’s important not to judge people based on whatever car they drive.
