Output stands at 1,250 horsepower with 878lb-ft of torque, and the top speed is rated at 233mph.

The figure is around $30,000 higher than the standard ZR1, but the gains in performance and specification are significant.

Pricing, specifications, and special edition details reveal how Chevrolet has positioned this model in a crowded performance car market.

2026 Corvette ZR1X: Price and power

The base 2026 Corvette ZR1X coupe is priced at $207,395 including destination, with the convertible starting at $217,395.

Higher-spec 3LZ versions list at $218,395 for the coupe and $228,395 for the convertible.

In performance terms, the 2026 Corvette ZR1X competes with cars costing significantly more, including the Lamborghini Temerario at $390,000, and Ford Mustang GTD at $327,960.

General Motors

The price gap is even larger compared to the Ferrari F80 at $3.7 million and the McLaren W1 at $2.1 million.

The 2026 Corvette ZR1X uses a hybrid-assisted V8, and Chevrolet notes the power is supported by aerodynamic and chassis systems tuned for both track and road use.

While the technology helps the Chevrolet Corvette reach its 233mph top speed, the focus remains on making that performance available at a cost far below that of its closest speed rivals.

This approach reinforces the Corvette price advantage that has defined the model for decades.

Quail Silver Edition joins the lineup

Chevrolet will mark Monterey Car Week with the Quail Silver Limited Edition.

Available only as a 3LZ convertible, it starts at $241,395.

The edition’s Blade Silver Matte finish is the first matte paint offered on a Chevrolet Corvette in 60 years and takes its cue from the Inca Silver used on the original C1 Corvette.

Inside, the model features Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray materials with Habanero highlights.

General Motors

Painted brake calipers are standard.

Buyers can also select the ZTK Performance Package, which adds revised spring rates, updated chassis tuning, a carbon-fiber aerodynamic kit, and Michelin Pilot Cup 2R tires.

Chevrolet has not announced how many will be built, only that production will be limited.

The 2026 Corvette ZR1X and its Quail Silver Limited Edition extend Chevrolet’s presence in the high-performance sector by offering strong output and capability at a price well below most of its direct and indirect competitors.

By maintaining a competitive Corvette price while delivering performance to match or exceed far more expensive cars, Chevrolet has kept the 2026 Corvette relevant in a market where speed often comes at a far higher cost.
