This 1967 Ford Mustang in relatively good condition has seemingly spent years, or perhaps even decades by the looks of it, abandoned on private property.

It’s a shame because apart from the flat tires and the dust that covers it, the car is in relatively good condition.

It probably wouldn’t start at the first attempt, and it’s definitely not what you’d call showroom-ready, but it wouldn’t take much to fix it.

Hopefully someone will at some point.

The Mustang is a best-selling rarity

The Ford Mustang is one of those vehicles that somehow managed to remain rare and sought after even though, technically, the car is not rare at all.

This is a best-selling vehicle, and it always has been.

Over 472,000 units of the car you see here were built, including 356,000 hardtop versions.

Even if we only considered the model powered by the 390 cubic-inch, 320 horsepower V8, we’d still be talking about over 28,800 units sold in total.

And yet, every Mustang, especially old one, is treated like a celebrity.

So kudos to Ford for being able to give the Mustang this perpetual allure.

A good year for Mustangs

1967 seems to be a great year for Mustangs.

In recent times, so many 1967 Ford Mustangs resurfaced, sometimes in terrible condition, and they all went on to become somebody’s ‘project’, before being restored back into life.

A while back, somebody recovered one from the bottom of a swamp.

On another occasion, a completely destroyed model was rebuilt and turned into something worthy of a museum.

The same thing happened to a rare 390 Mustang.

Hopefully the Ford Mustang in the pictures here will get the same treatment, and will be able to hit the road again soon.
