Ahmad Etsenumhe, known online as Talented Ahmad, wowed his town when he took Nigeria’s streets in a homemade Lambo.

The car was covered in cardboard and took two years to build.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he has another replica in the works.

Homemade cars are always impressive, in whatever form they take.

Whether it be friends creating their own Bugatti Chiron, or a dad making his kids a wooden BMW Lovos, it’s always nice to see creativity flourish.

And the work of Ahmad is no exception.

Talented Ahmad

At 18 years old, he’s already created a functioning Lamborghini Egoista replica and amassed a following of more than 200,000 people online as a result.

For this innovative young man, it was an obvious choice that he would want to replicate the designs of Lamborghini.

A passion for Lambos

“My fascination with Lamborghinis began in my early teens. I remember being captivated by their sleek designs and powerful performance.

“Over the years, this admiration has only grown, leading me to appreciate the brand’s rich history and engineering excellence,” he said during our exclusive.

What does he owe his abilities to? Natural talent and investing a lot of time into his craft.

“I believe my ability to create replicas stems from a natural talent that I’ve always possessed, rather than something I specifically learned,” he said.

“My aptitude for crafting replicas is an inherent part of who I am.

“I source the materials for my replicas by recycling waste materials. I believe in the power of sustainability and reusing what would otherwise be discarded, turning it into something valuable and functional,” he explained.

But building the replica wasn’t without its challenges, as you might expect.

Ahmad didn’t have a ton of money to sink into the project, so it took two years to master.

And that’s before all the finer details had been taken into consideration.

“The most difficult part of making the Lamborghini replica was getting the details right. It was challenging to match the precision and quality of the original design, especially with limited resources.

“Every aspect, from the bodywork to the interior details, required meticulous attention and patience to ensure it was as close to the real thing as possible,” Ahmad said.

How have his projects been received – both in real life and online?

The car has been positively received online, with many people applauding Ahmad’s effort.

“This boy got talent,” one admirer wrote.

“The frame [alone] looks good, but when the full body finishes, it looks awesome,” another said.

And the positive reception didn’t go unnoticed by Ahmad, whether it be international or closer to home in Nigeria.

“The reactions to my work have been overwhelmingly positive.

“Many people are amazed by the level of detail and craftsmanship, and it’s rewarding to see how impressed they are by the final result. Some are even inspired to try their own projects.

“It feels great to know that my work has sparked interest and admiration from others,” he said

So it won’t surprise you to learn that there’s another replica is in the works – a Lamborghini Aventador SV.

And we know we speak for everyone when we say that we’re excited to see it finished.

As of yet, though, it’s just a metal structure and has not gotten its outer body.
